PACS (Parents of ACS) UTD was formed in April 2006 when a group of ACS (Primary)
soccer players’ fathers quite sensibly decided that since they were going to be
around watching their sons train, they might as well get some healthy exercise by
playing a game of soccer amongst themselves. This group of die hard soccer dads
has since grown to a team of about 30 players who take turns to organise and turn
up at friendly matches with other veteran soccer teams around the island in their
very own smart orange coloured jerseys tinged with the blue of the ACS colours.

The PACS United Team
In June 2006, PACS UTD played a friendly soccer match with the Subordinate Courts
soccer team in the grand old Madame, The National Stadium. It was a once in a lifetime
opportunity for the dads to play at the very venue where their National Team heroes
were the recipients of their contributions to the Kallang Roar. The Kallang Roar
was heard again for this friendly match, as the young and spirited ACS (Primary)
soccer players cheered their dads whole-heartedly in a vociferous display of support
seen only in the hey-days of the Malaysia Cup!
With each match played the fitness of the team has progressively improved. Although
age was catching up with some of the older members, the sheer joy of getting to
adorn the jerseys and perform on the field was incentive enough to fight off the
“mind is willing but the body is weak” cliché and turn up for the games.
As PACS UTD strives to live up to the school motto “The Best is Yet to Be”, we wish
them all the very best in their enjoyment of their beloved sport of “Soccer”. With
such inspiration to draw upon, it will be inevitable that our ACS (Primary) soccer
team achieves the highest accolades in the upcoming tournaments and we wish both
the young players and their dads all the very best in their soccer endeavours.
